Jan Faulkner was a member of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra for many years and was also a Specialist Percussion Teacher at Wells Cathedral School, alongside her appointment as Outreach Officer at the school. She composed music for almost every occasion, including many pieces for percussion, and has written two books [First Bass/Second Bass] for the young bassist.
